1/4 c. oil
2 eggs
3/4 c. pumpkin puree (canned or homemade)
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 t. baking powder
1/2 t.baking soda
1/4 t. ground cloves
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. nutmeg
1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 200 C. Grease muffin tins. Mix sugar, oil, eggs. Add pumpkin and water. In separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, and salt. Add wet mixture to this. Stir. Add chocolate chips and stir. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. (Note: you can also substitute 1 t. pumpkin pie spice for the cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg.)
