A recent huge hit all around with my family...I needed something fun for dessert for family movie night. This was definitely a winner. I served it with lots of red and green apple slices and popcorn. Okay, it's not the healthiest thing in the book, but my kids each ate at least 2 apples in the process.
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. pancake syrup (homemade worked great)
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sweetened condensed milk
Mix together in saucepan. Bring to boil. Turn off heat and pour into crock pot. Set on low till ready to serve. Variation: add 1/2 peanut butter to dip.
