This is such a simple recipe that I hesitate to even post it. But, I had never heard of it until my friend Susan mentioned they were having it one night for dinner. We love grapefruit, and it sounded yummy. I usually make it at night in place of a salad or as a sidedish for quiche.
2 red grapefruit
brown sugar (or honey)
Slice and section the grapefruit. Sprinkle each side with about 1 T. of brown sugar (or drizzle with a little honey). Then broil for 3 to 5 minutes. I just watch until the edges are starting to get dark brown and the grapefruit is bubblilng a bit.
